Supersoul, asshole. Fiquata, asshole. The vigilante, asshole. Cassini... Nothing. Ashanti, asshole. I'm tired of giving pearls to swine; if you have to shit on people behind a computer, shit on each other.

Well, I see you haven't understood a damn thing. Go have a quarter of the life and work experiences I've had, and maybe then we can talk about it again. You idiots.

J.D. Salinger? What, the young Holden? I've read it too, they made me read it in high school. Whatever. Unabomber? What the hell are you talking about, sorry?

I wrote another review on Into the Wild. I sent it, and in a few days you will be able to read it. I'm also curious to know what you think about it.

Now that I think about it, I read in a book called "Memories of a Cheyenne Warrior" that it was customary among the tribes for boys to spend several days alone in a hut in the forest as a rite aimed at self-improvement. Perhaps Chris had this instinctive insight and went off to seek his own initiation alone. :-) Who knows what he would have told if he had come back. This is just one interpretation, though, and I think Chris wouldn't have minded it.

Oh reply tomorrow, let me know if you agree with this ethical interpretation of mine mentioned above ;-) Good night

The boy, before dying, writes, "Happiness is only real when shared." This means he has become a man. He understood that the purpose of man is participation, and he has grown up. If he hadn’t eaten those poisoned berries, he would have gone home and shared his experience, saying, "Look guys, happiness is real when shared, and blah blah blah," then his journey would have made sense. But unfortunately, he didn't make it; life is also made of this.

Gaio, the point is not "what did the protagonist do when he was alone," the point is that HE WAS ALONE. Do you follow me?
