Kosmogabri, you brought this upon yourself with your attitude towards my review of Kurosawa. In any case, I stand by my opinion on Penn and most Hollywood actors, who may make successful films but really get on my nerves.

Iside, listen up, I'm an adult and I do whatever the hell I want since I’ll always face the consequences, so if I change my mind and decide to write here again, I’ll do it, got it?

Bartleboom, I've got the girl, don't worry, you know very well that hitting on someone at ten in the morning isn't exactly the behavior of a sane person... I don't know how many girls you've picked up at ten in the morning, but anyway, stop talking nonsense.

Oh my God, not behind the back, or I'll lose my balance. Let's do both, that way we're on the safe side. :-)

Franci, don't worry about my physique, it's well trained, I practice competitive boxing, I've been training for three years, and I could even take you down with one hand behind my back...

Bartleboom, that "jerk" privately you completely deserved for what you said in message 76. And today is Saturday morning and I'm not working (not because I'm Jewish...), so I can stay "glued to the computer" as long as I want.

"Objectivity" comes from objective, and a "objective judgment" is an example; it is a judgment AIMED at a purpose, which should usually be that of self-improvement.

Gustavotanz, it went this way precisely because I wrote it with objectivity.

The big difference between this review of mine and others about this film is that I wrote it from a PRACTICAL point of view, not a cinematic-critic one... I tried to understand Chris, not to comment on Penn's film which I couldn't care less about. Many of you still haven't understood that.

"Putting it the way you did makes it seem like the reason for his journey is an escape from work... but that’s not the case at all... Supertramp wanted to experience life in its most primitive essence... I think the scene where he burns money is symbolic..." ------ Hardrock92, if you read closely, I wrote "[Chris] travels hundreds of kilometers, learning to hunt, not to give in to fatigue, cold, hunger, loneliness, physical and mental suffering." If that isn’t primitive life, then what is? And then Chris is running away from society, and a necessary condition to be part of society is to WORK. Fiquata and Supersoul didn’t explain a damn thing to me, unless proven otherwise. :-)
