Then there's Obama, it's Obama who calls the shots, no doubt about it. We don't count for anything. All it takes is a prime minister who can listen to what Obama tells him and then execute. Period. Berlusconi is scared stiff in front of Obama, he tries to act friendly but you can tell he's trembling because Obama is sharp... And indeed, he avoids him, he doesn’t even acknowledge him, he’s the only one who doesn’t applaud Berlusconi's speeches. ---

Geenoo, protesting only gets you beaten up by the cops who couldn't care less. Politics isn't done through demonstrations; it's done with votes: if people vote for Berlusconi, a bunch of kids won't be staging a coup. Protests fade away just as they began... they are flash in the pans. We have to stay on top of things day by day and damn it, in the next elections, don't vote for Berlusconi. Put in the worst useless leftist alienated... but not Berlusconi, damn it, enough with Berlusconi.

Well, sooner or later people are going to get fed up... Anyway, I agree with Caz that there’s a lack of a world order, and it’s no coincidence that the UN is dead. Multinationals should be the ones registered with the UN and following certain ethical rules... Not the other way around as it is today, where multinationals make the rules. Today's global political organization is a gigantic criminal organization. And in my opinion, though I don't want to be overly optimistic, Obama is working to dismantle this system, little by little (I’m not saying he doesn’t serve American interests, but he knows how to behave respectfully with other world leaders...)

Exactly, Bubi, that's it :-) Yes, Carll is a bit like Guccini in his approach. He doesn't show off, he simply makes the music he believes in.

Look, you can say "influencers," you ignorant and arrogant fool.

Anyway, maybe Nietzsche understood everything, but he had no one to share what he thought with. Perhaps he would have if he had "gotten on the level" of his contemporaries, instead of writing to "my readers, my righteous readers, my predestined readers"... Who the hell they were, he didn't even know himself. Who was Nietzsche writing to? To himself.
