I'm sorry, but of the Japanese cartoons, the only one worth watching is "Fist of the North Star" (the first series). That cartoon is a true work of art. Drawing, story, content, pace. In Dragon Ball, it takes ten episodes for two things to happen; it's dragged out to death and unwatchable. I've never read the comic.
