The greatest jewel of the DM… a work of art that is a constant source of inspiration.

Objectively, this is a 2 out of 5 album, but it’s my all-time favorite band, so I give it 1 extra point out of love. St. Anger is better than the previous 2 "load of crap," but it’s significantly inferior to all the production up to '93 (excluding live shit). There are some good ideas, but the excessive length of the songs makes them convoluted, aside from 3 full tracks and a few sporadic moments of resurgence. I think the next album will be the real test to determine how much this band still has to say.
