I personally rank the album among the second tier (noting that I like it a lot), alternating historic tracks with other good ones, while your review is truly remarkable, in fact it's simply B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!
Congratulations Bogus, especially for your passion for Look Back in Anger, another timeless piece!

Well, you know how it is, damn it was heavy while I was doing it... but I had to make it "Heroes," one way or another I had to do it. This is a review that taught me a lot, and I’m also indebted to it!

Just that "...sometimes..." like you, I also have the album from that period, even though out of affection "Scary.." and "Station to.." are the ones I feel the most personally connected to... I think I'll also do another review of the Duke, the third and last, and I've chosen a controversial, particular, much-discussed album... I'll take my time with it in a few weeks; in the meantime Bogus, if you feel like it, check out my two reviews and let me know what you think, whenever you have the time and desire... bye!

But what the hell is the point of questioning who came first, who is right and who is wrong???
We’re talking about one of the pillars of the entire history of rock; I love this Bowie just as much as the one from the trilogy, from Ziggy, from Aladdin Sane, from Outside, etc... whatever he did always reached the highest level; if he copied, he did it impeccably, and if someone did the work for him (which I doubt), he definitely added his own touch.
I love this album and consider it among his top 3 along with Heroes and Station to Station; it might be different for you, but here we’re talking about music that moves people, and everyone experiences it in different ways!

The album: Legendary,
The review: terrible.
I swear that the only justification is that you are under 16 years old!

Instead, bringing back an old discussion I had with BarryLyndon in the review I wrote of David Bowie's "Heroes," I incorporate myself into the reviews, sharing what that album means to me in order to compare and discuss music with others; if you want impartiality in reviews, there are magazines and websites that do that every day.
After the death of Bluvertigo, Marlene is my favorite Italian band; I've seen them live dozens of times and they rarely disappoint me.
This album is an incomplete work; it doesn't convince me like "Senza Peso" did. You say you haven't commented on my review?... you gave me a 1, which is more than just a comment. I accept it without too many problems, and I remind you that I judge albums on deBase whether I like them or not.
Free to express myself, and you free to judge me, with no hard feelings...

On Groovebox.it you can download the video for "The Truth," a track that will appear on the new album releasing on May 3rd... I recommend it Cool... then we can discuss it, okay? Hi....

I see that nosferatu-man hasn't understood anything I've said in the review so far: just to clarify, alongside the usual "Queen Bee," "Sonica," and "Retrattile," my favorites include "L'Infinità," "Notte," "L'Esangue Debora," and the same "Bellezza" among the songs they wrote... this album didn't say much to me on the first listens; I could listen to it a couple of times in a row, but now it's really becoming a struggle: it flattens out listen after listen, never takes off, and doesn’t make me dream like their previous works; I reaffirm the very high level of the lyrics, with splendid metaphors of autobiography. I love Marlene even without guitar riffing, but these tracks feel like paintings left hanging, in my opinion.
