L.A. Woman is a good album, even though it might be the most "normal" one by the Doors. But considering they released 6 staggering albums in just four and a half years, we can forgive them!! Morrison, I've pretty much collected everything related to the Doors: unofficial CDs, all the books (many of which are quite similar...), DVDs, VHS tapes, and various stuff. It's clear that the impact isn't the same anymore, but every time "The End" kicks in, it's a journey... I also agree about the song "The Soft Parade," it's a spectacle!!! Especially the second part is way ahead of its time!!!!

The review describes the album very well, which, as you said, and as Jim Morrison rightly reiterated above, deserves a 4.5 because some tracks are a bit weaker. Jim, the Doors have been my absolute favorite band for a long time, but would you give a 5 to "The Soft Parade" too? I don't think so...

The single doesn't resemble any of their more recent tracks at all!! But how the hell do they manage to write all the songs the same?? And then this kindergarten cover.. I bet that inside the CD packaging there will be a phone number to download ringtones of their songs...

But at least you’ve listened to the CD, right? The only thing you say is that all the songs (16 in total!) are pretty bad. Congratulations, very enlightening! Honestly, I expected worse from them; nothing new, but some songs are quite enjoyable to listen to. As for them looking like puppets on stage, that's another story; for me, it's already a miracle that Keith Richards is still alive after everything he's been through... (rating 3 and a half)
