Le Luci della Centrale Elettrica Canzoni da Spiaggia Deturpata

between this Vasco and the other... this one a thousand times. the album, after an initial infatuation, has somewhat waned... it's hard to repeat oneself.

Well, I'll tell you, maybe I'm a bit of a nerd, but I don't think it's true that superhero comics lack any moral impulse and are just pure marketing: for example, the Spiderman you mention is really a bad choice. In Spidey, psychological depth and conveying a certain moral are at the core of the character. Then you mention the New Avengers: well, there I somewhat agree, but it's still a fun read. Because, let’s remember, first and foremost, mainstream comics (Marvel, DC, but also Image, Dark Horse, and the like) are entertainment. Then there are edge cases where a certain author manages to create high literature through entertainment, while others produce junk (I'm thinking of the latest Loeb). @Cpt: have you ever read anything by Mack? And Torso by Bendis? I hope you're preparing a review on something by Morrison because it definitely deserves it...

Beautiful page Cpt, no doubt about it. I wouldn't know how to define Miller's masterpiece, but this and Devil: Born Again are definitely on the podium. The other spot is contested by DKR and Year One. My edition is the hardcover, released not long ago by Planeta (and luckily it has no lettering errors or scanned pages).

I'll read you later, in the meantime I’ll give a nice 5 to the work: a visually stunning Miller that refines the taste for the East with European suggestions (Moebius and Bilal above all). And the story isn’t bad either: a cyber-punk apologia between feudal Japan and a sick corporate future.
Alan Moore The Killing Joke
Voto:
At the time, Miller between Devil and Batman could easily rival Moore, not to mention Gaiman's Sandman... then Moore had an incredible continuity as an author, also thanks to the great editorial freedom he chose.
Vincenzo Mollica Paz: Scritti, Disegni, Fumetti.

The only thing that stands out awkwardly is Mollica; the rest is all very beautiful.
Darren Aronofsky Pi Greco: il Teorema del Delirio

the theorem of delirium or the apotheosis of paranoia, damn how crazy this movie is. I’ve never seen Requiem for a Dream, but I did like The Fountain quite a bit.

you don’t get much about music, do you? it’s because of people like J-Ax, i Gemelli DiVersi, Mondo Marcio, and all the fake hip-hop crap that infests tv and radio that many people think all Italian hip-hop sucks or is just garbage for idiots.

A very academic and somewhat detached review for a pretty good album... trip-hop, electro-pop, downtempo, urban... I think it’s quite lounge for the third millennium: aperitif music, but with style.
