I was referring more to your reviews rather than the list... Shuggie Otis, these, David Sylvian, the Archive... they are all listens that interest me and that I enjoy...

Goo Goo Dolls = crap. like Bon Jovi and the like. fake rock for brain-dead degenerates. I haven’t been excited about rock lately, just imagine how much I hate the fake stuff.

@TelespallaBob: The Hives?! I see you really want to hurt yourself... anyway, great review Sylvian, it's always a pleasure to read you. And also, regarding our tastes, we get along quite well, I’ll see if I can get this album.

Hi Kill!!! I knew they were playing tonight, but I didn't know where. I would have liked to go. Anyway, I was talking about dance-oriented electronic music, and I think Swayzak is one of the best proposals (even if I personally prefer M.A.N.D.Y.). Then you mention great labels: Warp has become part of the history of electronic music, but lately it’s been lagging a bit on releases (I can mention the excellent Jamie Lidell, but that’s not really electronic, and it’s not super recent either), and I think the same goes for Ninja Tune (and believe me, I’m really passionate about certain things, like the very first Jaga Jazzist or the Cinematic Orchestra, of which I’m currently listening to Man With The Movie Camera). And, anyway, it’s still more or less experimental and/or alternative electronic music, not exactly easy or immediately danceable. From this point of view (in my humble opinion) the best stuff comes from K7 (like Swayzak), from Get Physical (founded by the aforementioned M.A.N.D.Y.), and from Ellen Allien's label, Bpitch Control. Then, as you said, it’s all a matter of taste, and as such, it remains subjective.
