Todd Haynes I'm Not There

I liked it... I agree with what Psycho and Senmayan said, and I’d also give it a solid 4... maybe it’s because I’m a bloody snob, but I really had fun. Scenes like Ballad Of A Thin Man, Christian Bale during the protests, the arrival of the Beatles, and almost the whole section with Blanchett, little Woody playing with the two black guys in Tombstone Blues, and also Pat Garrett recognizing Billy The Kid really impressed me and stuck with me. Cryptic and slow, but I fundamentally adore cool films wrapped in a veneer of intellectualism... @Vitalogy: indeed, Dylan appreciated it quite a bit.

bad sign because, usually, when artists do that it means they are out of ideas. I think this is what Lemuro meant. And it wasn't strictly a discussion concerning the Autreche (also because the album has yet to be released).

great page. but I admit my complete ignorance in the field of Autreche... help me please!

agreed with Supersoul... interesting film, but excessively sentimental and rhetorical. ultimately very boring. excellent Irons...

@Eletto1987: better Carrey than almost everyone else (the only one who holds up decently is P. Seymour-Hoffman). Of course, Norton is good too, but nothing compared to Jim: the latter is much more of a chameleon and skilled, never blank like Edward can be sometimes. And for intensity, in my opinion, no one (from this generation we're talking about) surpasses Carrey in The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind: are you really so sure it's a little movie like Bruce Almighty? and not a much deeper and more original film in its own way like The Truman Show (which is still very beautiful)?

welcome to the exclusive electro circle of deb! not a bad little page for a group I’ve never really appreciated fully; I’ve always found their sounds a bit generic (especially on the more techno side, like God Is A Dj or We Come One). I only have their greatest hits, but I listen to it every now and then... anyway, I think Muhammad Aly is splendid, a true homage to blaxploitation in its atmospheres (not to mention the great man and boxer). among other things, I believe that Rollo Armstrong is not just the producer, but actually a member of the group.

The only thing I remember is the scene with the assholes and the van instead of the Millennium Falcon... I don't feel like voting.

I've never really felt... I don't quite get along with d'n'b, maybe because I haven't explored it much... but I’ll look for this record as soon as I can! Great job, ZiOn!!! And welcome back... how are you?

but no Stipe, damn it, we won’t forgive you! you really get on our nerves. I think I’ll get the album, but I still listen to the first one often (tracks like Clint Eastwood and Tomorrow Comes Today don’t just fall from the sky)... the second one less so.
