Well, Jovanotti for a long time believed he was making hip-hop music. I'm not the one saying it, but he himself in his records. Then you see, we're talking about hip-hop and you mention three pieces of crap and say you didn't do it on purpose. It sounds a bit biased to me, but maybe it's just me thinking negatively. Anyway, I don't have any prejudices against you: I base myself on facts and not appearances, unlike you. I just think you've missed out on a lot of great music because maybe the artist was wearing baggy clothes or had chains around their neck: that's a fact (N.E.R.D. or not) and you admitted it just above. But then again, you don't have time. Honestly, I couldn't care less; you can offend me as much as you want and it goes in one ear and out the other. I know I'm speaking with knowledge of the facts: I base myself only on what has been said on this page. You don't; you just fill the air and offend without reason. Okay, I offended you first, but I must have hit a nerve, otherwise you wouldn't still be here complaining.

It doesn't add up. When did Baustelle go to San Remo? And with which song?

What a drag, the track-by-track. I don’t understand why Tricarico, Cristicchi, and their musical entourage (and the same goes for Gazzè, of whom these others are nothing but pale epigones) insist on going to the Festival. Don’t they realize that music is out there? That it’s a market, a showcase stripped of honor, hope, and dignity?! I think of bands and singers who, without the aid of any anachronistic and populist television event (and without being desperately alternative like many Italian bands from the '90s), manage to achieve wide success simply by offering quality music (Baustelle, Perturbazione...).

I had already posted, but whatever. Dear Contemplation, your latest comment doesn’t add anything to what’s been said before (and stop with these ridiculous comparisons: if I eat rotten meat, I’ll feel sick; if I listen to a bad record, I might just get a bit irritated) other than to highlight your profound ignorance on the subject of hip-hop. You mention Puff Daddy, Jovanotti (?!?), and 50 Cent: truly the pinnacle of prejudice. It’s like if I said that jazz sucks after only having heard Michael Bublè or Norah Jones.

I don't give a damn whether you voted or not. You rely on prejudices, and that’s enough for me.

don't raise your voice with me, sweetheart. I offended you because you showed little intelligence and I don't feel like apologizing: for me, anyone who criticizes genres or albums solely based on appearance is an idiot. you should apologize because you said, precisely, a stupid thing.

But why should I apologize? Just because I expressed and explained a comment? In my opinion, the one who made a mistake is you. You can use all the damn emoticons you want, but it doesn't seem like you've apologized or taken a step back.

let's say that scrutinizing life or forming an opinion about your daughter's boyfriend is slightly different from listening to a CD. something that takes you about an hour at most. maybe you don't have enough time and you prefer to rely on phantom prejudices afterwards. I don't. if I had based my judgments on appearances, how many experiences would I have missed.

"I wouldn't know, never heard of them, but by guess it's a 1 or a 2," you said. You haven't listened to the album but you think it's bad out of prejudice. To me, this reasoning doesn't seem like the pinnacle of intelligence at all. Unless you have a sixth sense for bad music (that could be, I haven't even listened to the album), which would still be something beyond intelligence.
