Perhaps the only possible review for this album. A nice recovery; it was missing.

But no, the album is good. But it’s just all a war between fans and non-fans (which side are you on?). The review, however, is atrocious. Damn, the shameless track-by-track breakdown, no! And then the clichés you spout, the mistakes you make, the complete lack of depth in your thinking... I really hope you’re thirteen. I think it would have been better if, to stay on theme with Amen, you had chosen Charlie as your nickname (a word to the wise is sufficient)...

what's not true, Supervai? eh eh? if I start telling you valid reviews that no one has cared about, I won't finish. take a stroll through the dedatabase and then come back here and see who is right.

it makes no fucking sense to say that Armstrong went there. Fifty years have passed and the music scene, the record market, the audience, and the specialized publishing have changed. Fifty years ago, the best of Italian song could really be found at San Remo (I'm thinking of Tenco), so it made sense to show up there. Now it doesn’t. Anyway, I don’t feel like repeating myself.

[1__ I don't understand why Tricarico, Cristicchi, and the rest of the gang (and the same goes for Gazzè, of whom these others are nothing but pale epigones) are so stubborn about going to the Festival. Don't they realize that music is outside? That it's a market, a showcase stripped of honor, hope, and dignity?! I think of bands and artists who, without relying on any anachronistic and populist television kermesse (and without being desperately alternative like many Italian groups from the '90s), manage to achieve broad success by simply offering quality music (Baustelle, Perturbazione...).
[2__ Sanremo essentially guarantees you a visibility so ephemeral and plastic that it soon fades away, leaving behind a tangible drop in credibility in both critical and public terms (not the radio listeners, but those who listen to records and go to concerts). Gazzè, perhaps due to his intelligence and talent, is one of the few who knows how to manage this seesaw well; his friend Niccolò Fabi had to stop going to Sanremo to build a serious career, while Daniele Silvestri finds it decidedly harder to reconcile all his participations in the kermesse with the aspect and intent of being an alternative singer-songwriter.

I strongly disagree with what you say about the festival and the media exposure, and I’m sharing the comments I left on Tricarico's review to better explain what I think. Otherwise, good review and an artist I really like but know little about.

I don’t know if I’m more annoyed by the reviewer or by you idiots who are always here commenting. You complain a lot, but when an alternative and fresh review comes out, nobody pays attention to it. You deserve the DTs, you really do.
