the philosophy (and literature) department in Bologna is at 38. sometimes they occupy it, but the last time it was done by the ciellini and it's not a nice thing.

Dear all, I will see if I can listen to them but the list is already long (Bit Beat, Jacie Mittoo, Jamie Lidell, Gnars Barkley...)

There was an article in the latest Mucchio that I didn't read about these young folks and other similar New Yorkers (indie-pop meets Africa). Your review is clear and well-done... maybe I'll even give it a thought, but Psycho's qualitative comment and score hold me back a bit.

Hehe, this page is nice. Grandiosely expressive... this Prince record, as soon as I see it, I'm buying it. But is it better than Sign 'O'?

Yes, the review that appears is Leonid's and it doesn't relate at all. Let's check first. Charlie, your little calculation at the end of the review is 110 and not 100.

the only film by Miike that I've seen, terribly unsettling... very beautiful.
Philippe Garrel Les amants règuliers

definitely not a bad film, but it's not a good one either, this Les Amants Reguòlier. stunning cinematography, nice atmosphere, and a very cool theme... but the film is missing: it lacks a solid plot, it lacks a deeper meaning (despite all the intellectual airs it assumes). in short, a terribly vacuous film, and three hours of emptiness are heavy. in comparison (a direct confrontation) with The Dreamers, it loses badly; Berolucci's film (far from being a masterpiece) at least has remarkable solidity and the whole theme of love for cinema is very well executed and engaging. the review is not bad, but we see things too differently.
