but once the Verva were simply the Verve, not The Verve. anyway, I liked how you described the album, you really made me want to listen to it.

here is where the comic book fans of deBaser were hidden... I'm always scared by these movies. I'll watch it on DVD. rip.

whatever you want, however you want it. the fact is that, as often happens when reviewing albums by female artists, the discussion revolves more around the pussy than the album. to me, this is sexist, but I repeat, it's just an opinion. for example, yours is that I'm heavy-handed, and Panthera thinks I'm a faggot; that doesn't mean you’re right. we certainly don’t have the truth in our pockets. if my first comment (and even the second) hit you so hard (almost offended you), I apologize... it seems that I was getting pretty close to the truth, otherwise you wouldn't have brought up all that ramble.

Well... never heard of it and I don't think I'll explore it further: the TLCs didn't seem that great to me.

"However, if the GainSBUR were to spread her legs, suddenly her music would become celestial and paradisiacal." It seems to me like a somewhat sexist and vulgar statement. But you do you. I am equally free to say and think what I want.

I would have written "which are bastards"... but it's a reference that few can catch... you would just need to have read the first issues of Preacher by Ennis. Anyway, I got off-topic: I have always loved Dead Can Dance and Lisa's voice, even more than Elizabeth's. I would like to know if anyone has heard the album that just came out containing the sessions between Lisa and Klaus Schulze.

beautiful, evocative, and intriguing review... I saw them live at NetMage when they only had their first album behind them: very good, electronic and psychedelic, atmospheric and enveloping. I think I'm going to look for this album, I've been thinking about it for a while...

I've always read about a rather bland album, a carbon copy of the Air, who lately haven't seemed to be in great shape. I've listened to some of it, but it didn’t leave much of an impression. The review is well written, but it's the third one for this album and doesn't offer any new interpretation whatsoever. The comments, on the other hand, are often pathetic (Franci and Lux are embarrassingly banal and vulgar; I would really like to know what The Green Manalishi means by "it's that French way of singing and making records that I can't stand"). Anyway, she is very talented as an actress (excellent performances in L'Arte Del Sogno and Io Non Sono Qui) and quite fascinating as a woman, but she doesn't strike me as a 'hot girl' as many have described her: she's more of a type than a beauty. And in any case, she gets three stars by default for being the daughter of Serge and Jane.

Oh no! Another 5-star album... all the albums you listen to are perfect.
