I agree with CoolOras. It's a pity about the rating (and personal tastes) because the review is well done.

Sorry DaveJonGilmour, but which Dave does your nickname encompass in its reference: Dave Grohl or Dave Gahan or Dave Who Else? And who is Jon, Jon Bon Jovi or someone else? Instead, for Gilmour, you play it safe linking it to the guy from Pink Floyd who replaced Barrett... Right? Please enlighten me! I'm too curious.

Well, I shared my thoughts, I created a tiny discussion about this album. Then, the fact that I wrote the review to avoid getting rusty is a different story; in the meantime, I expressed an opinion... As for the fact that this review is recommended, it seems the editors liked it; for example, I would have put it on the right. But, de gustibus, as usual.

yet another review of an album that I personally find highly overrated. But you get a high rating for writing things as they are: "The strength of this work lies not in experimentation or musical sophistication, but in the poignant intensity and the communicativeness that Radiohead can create with electronic sounds." Well, dub is a type of Jamaican music (I don't know, listen to Lee Perry, Augustus Pablo, Mad Professor... and you'll understand more than I can explain) and avant is a prefix indicating something experimental and/or AVAN-T-garde. Simple, right? And as for transportation, I can't help but agree with you: passion shines through for records with 4/5 stars, not for this stuff here. I only write reviews like this to keep myself in shape.
