Well, laugh all you want… but many dubstep artists come from jungle; the scene is the same, only the years have changed. And above all, many dubstep artists have real talent: just listen to Boxcutter, he’s made an album that some people search for all their lives; he created a truly heterogeneous but also tightly cohesive record (I’m sure Goldie wishes he could hybridize electro, dub, and jazz like him). Back to Goldie, the album isn’t bad, especially when it leans less towards easy listening and more towards something harder: it doesn’t sound dated and the rhythmic structures are very beautiful and effective (and not just a mere reproduction of the syncopated beats typical of the nineties), but above all the sounds are excellent (and often so saturated that they really remind me of dubstep).

super tacky Psycho, and not so trippy... by now Tricky is at his best, in my humble opinion, in the more crossover tracks.

Boxcutter: Glyphic, 2007 (the album Goldie wished he could make: IDM, jungle, jazz-fusion, dub, roots reggae... Nothing found for 2008 01 24 Boxcutter Glyphic ) Distance: My demons (you can find the review on deb). Kode9 & The Spaceape (same as Distance). Benga: Diary Of Afro Warrior (http://www.indieforbunnies.com/2008/05/19/benga-diary-of-an-afro-warrior/). Plus, there's Burial, praised by many and also featured on deB, but I’m not convinced.

@FrancescoSeta: what are you, stupid? stop promoting that despicable review, which, among other things, is still in hp. and then what, you give 5 to every album and every review hoping someone will return the favor? get lost! @KemoSabe: nice page, we quite agree... to know my thoughts, I refer you here---> Tricky – Knowle West Boy | Recensione | IndieForBunnies (rather distracted in some points).

I don't see the necessity... I tried to download it, but I still need to listen to it... anyway, from how you describe it, it seems that Goldie hasn't changed a single thing in these ten years and well... it doesn't intrigue me: what’s the point of a '90s dnb album when dubstep (the natural evolution of jungle) is booming and bringing out artists and albums with real substance? By the way, nearly fifteen years later, the same Timeless doesn’t sound that wonderful anymore... anyway, the emojis in the review are disgusting.

New Amerikah drives me crazy... there are tracks produced by Madlin that thunder, truly one of the albums of the year, just The Healer would be enough. I miss this.

oh my god, but you’re a fake. I can feel it... and get ready for the insults, the last part of the review will trigger a lot of anger. By the way, what does grime have to do with it?
