Encyclopedic and quite skilled. I don't know this record, but it intrigues me (how can I find it? on the mule?). However, I'm not fully convinced of what you say: I didn't quite understand, do you claim that the '70s dance is better than what came after? Sure, without things like this there would have been neither house, nor techno, nor other, but to say that the artistic level has dropped afterwards seems absurd to me. Over the years, dance electronics have developed and branched out, reaching very high quality peaks. Maybe there's more rubbish around now, but that's only because there's more dance. The good things in this musical world have always existed, and with the advancement of technology, the average quality has significantly risen. The loss of the live dimension is a consequential aspect of club culture, but it does not necessitate an artistic decline.

Editors, have you noticed that the average ratings (both for the album and the review, not only here) are misaligned?
