Is there a way to hate you nonchalantly? No, because I mark myself right away, at least I gain something from it.

I got lost in the comments, and I hope I’m not repeating what someone else has already said. The idea isn’t bad; it would be a sort of blob to signal broadcasts that criminalize the internet (but also Inter, no problem). The issue isn’t the media itself; the problem lies in who (and how) uses the media: for example, maybe I review an episode of Blob, Il_Paolo instead praises L'Isola Dei Famosi; Alessio reviews a film that Ghezzi aired very late, and in response comes a nice trash page from BirbaBirba about Uomini e Donne or TRL. So, the question isn’t about eliminating this new initiative or not, but managing it with consistency and a bit of artistic integrity. I don't remember who said that the only censorship is artistic, but I agree. Maybe in cinema, books, or music one can get by with a "de gustibus" (Il_Paolo loves those shitty films; that's his problem if he has awful tastes), but it doesn’t work that way on television. If someone wants to praise Uomini e Donne, they should go to the Defilippi forum. This isn’t about tastes this time; it’s about decency and intelligence.

Well, the guys have talent and ideas to spare... Return To Cookie Mountain amazed me back then, but now it seems to have lost that incredible urgency that made me love it; I’d say I almost prefer the first one at this point. This one is on my wishlist; I’ll let you know when I’ve listened to it.

For me, Silent Alarm has never been more than three stars, and I don't understand all the hype surrounding that album. Well... this latest one intrigues me; I've read pretty much everywhere about this excessive use of electronics, and that piques my interest. I'm either waiting for a price drop or I'll jump into a download; we'll see.

Really nice analysis. I have to watch the film; it's been sitting on my hard drive for a while now.
