I could say the same to you dear PoetaRainer, but it seems like a waste of time. I'm not saying law, but don't think you're the only one who appreciates ancient verses... moreover: loving the classics doesn't mean reproducing them faithfully. And a writing style like yours is not in touch with reality; it remains a sterile and empty exercise in Carduccian style. I couldn't tell you more than that. Anyway, you're free to write however the hell you want, but at the same time, I'm free to tell you that you're a damned living anachronism (and that's clearly true, given that no one in conversation dreams of using expressions like "in sù la fronte la riga, libra, a discriminare il bene dal male"). Moreover, I do not tell anyone to be or think like me; I simply state the truth: poetry was created like this three/four/five hundred years ago, already Gozzano and Caproni are ahead, not to mention His Majesty Edoardo Sanguineti. review and therefore anachronistic poetry/prose. come on, wake up!! poetry is no longer what it was with Cavalcanti and Guinizzelli. you can't write as you did five hundred years ago... every era has its own singers, and it seems to me that you have missed the mark of your time.
