@Pi.Per: well, at least again on deBaser... @Boredom: yes, but I think they only play on one track of Bjork's album, I expected a lot more. Anyway, I saw them live and they are really a lot of fun...

@Cpt: are you one from Cassero? Someone said that the French are like the Italians, but always in a bad mood: that's the only reason I adore them...

Has anyone seen the latest Sunshine by Danny Boyle? The plot and the trailer seemed like total crap to me, but he is really an interesting director, visually speaking (just think of the toilet scene in Trainspotting and the whole visual setup of 28 Days Later).

I'll reconsider Cameron's one if you say so... but definitely not the third: I trust my dad, and he spoke really badly about that movie.

Well, there's a classic "de gustibus"... but for me, The Cloning is a great movie even just for two scenes: the birth of the alien that kills the one who gave birth to it, recognizing Ripley as its mother, and its death in the ship (it has a face that is terrible: "Mother, why are you doing this to me?"). The rest is pretty lacking, but those two moments are truly fantastic. I watched Aliens not too long ago, but it didn't leave me with anything.

I didn't like Cameron's Alien at all. I mean, La Clonazione is much better... I find it the weakest episode (but I haven't seen the third one and I don't really care, given the negative opinions I've read and heard everywhere).
The Clash From Here To Eternity: Live

PeggioP, we understand that the Clash were inspired by the Ramones when forming the band. However, this doesn't change the fact that the Clash devour the Ramones in one bite: the latter never strayed from the hyper-fast three chords, while the Clash, with London Calling first and then with Sandinista!, created infinite musical universes (from this, Manu Chao and Mano Negra draw inspiration, even Massive Attack, LCD SoundSystem, and thousands of other vastly different groups).

by now Clapton is sort of a reverse Midas: everything he touches declines... besides the disappointing Clapton-Cale duo, I would also mention the equally disappointing Clapton-King... god how sad, at least the others would have the sense to stay away from him...

In my opinion, Cameron is slightly overrated... I would also mention Gilliam, who, by tackling science fiction only twice, managed to produce a masterpiece each time: Brazil and L'Esercito Delle Dodici Scimmie...
