@Target: no, I listened to it sporadically (and only a few times in full) for a week before reviewing it. Even while I was writing, I had it playing in the background; in fact, I felt a sharp pain in my foot... could it have been Kulma?

Struggling ZiOn, but you don't like this record? I downloaded it after reading your comment... some mistakes (I apologize editors, but this time I was a bit inattentive): in the first line I wrote "non" twice, in this piece "Kulma è un disco che si apprezzare per i dettagli" there's a "fa" missing before "apprezzare," and here "vi farete un idea" clearly lacks the apostrophe between "un" and "idea." Please take care of the corrections and I sincerely thank you... besi...

"There are CDs that can talk, that can communicate." You're absolutely right, and you've made a beautiful speech, but you can't set yourself up as the ultimate judge. For you, DN is pop and you don't like it, that's okay. We like it and we don't find it pop. Probably the truth lies somewhere in between, but that doesn't mean we have to despise or mistreat each other. {:-)}

I don't understand all this desire to be forcefully alternative. DN is a great album (the best of this band) perhaps precisely because it combines the previous experimental phase of SY with a wink to more mainstream rock, right? Because it’s capable of communicating where the previous albums couldn’t. Anyway, dear Publisher, defining it as pop is definitely excessive and misleading. Moreover, it seems to me that his attitude is based solely on personal idiosyncrasies (towards Pretazzo) rather than on sensible reasoning. Rather, if he wants to communicate his ideas about art and his musical tastes, he should do it with a nice review, instead of infesting others' with comments worthy of a fake. Bye...

I mean... I am against censorship, but some people really take advantage of it. And this page is proof of that. Nick, can't we ban the review?

Sorry Gucci, but your argument has holes everywhere. Seriously. You're changing the subject, trying to climb up the mirrors. First with the alleged relevance of the Stones (which I'd say has been disproven by anyone), and now with this story about physical/visual appearance. It's not necessarily true that the latter is functional to music or strictly necessary. A band/artist can choose whether to let the music speak for itself or add some seasoning, but it's the music that ultimately has the say. If the Stones make nice videos, good for them, but the Sonic ones outshine them in terms of coherence, sound, and ideas. Then, thinking that looking younger at all costs is a positive thing, I disagree: it's much more dignified to show your true age (remember the beautiful Hurt video by Cash, with him old and frail, resigned to the idea of death yet so strong in his presence, so poetic, tragic, and wonderful) rather than pretending to be young lads at seventy (which is quite pathetic, by the way).

The review is nice but a bit disjointed... I've heard a lot about the album, I'll see if I can get it because after reading your thoughts, my curiosity has increased even more.

The funny thing is that Stipe also criticizes other people's reviews...
