And what if instead of sending 10 reviews a day, you read "I Promessi Sposi"? Or went back to school? (assuming you're not already there, as a repeater). You're unbelievably arrogant. How do you manage, even in your twenties, to express yourself in such a violent way, throwing threats and judgments at others, how do you do it? Wash your mouth out, little child! Learn to tone it down, relax. If you write crap and can’t correct yourself, keep quiet, observe, and learn from those willing to teach you, arrogant little ignorant child. If you’re bothered by comments like this, pay more attention to your efforts, and stay calm, little child. Look at you!

Exquisite people, that's what you are. Starting a conversation with you is a pleasant diversion on particularly dreary workdays. Iko, you're right; I indeed limited myself to saying that I will never buy a Beatles CD; I did not extend the discussion to other authors, composers, and artists. Example: my father, a classical music fanatic with a fondness for Mozart, since he switched to digital, has filled a room with CDs. Every week, 5 or 6 arrive for him (blessed is he who can afford it) from all corners of the globe... and Hal, justify the rating of the album in this sense: the subject of your review is the mere commercial operation that we all recognize. If I want to listen to Don't Let Me Down or any other piece, I know what to do; I know where to find it. What I mean is that in this case, my judgment is expressed on the container, not the contents. If this were not the case, any "Best of" would surely be a masterpiece. I would like to keep intact the ability to discriminate between the collector, with its packaging and production, and what it contains. Certainly, you cannot give a 1 to these songs. Sure!

Hey Fallen, great response to Sallu! Awesome! (Sallu, don’t take it personally, you provoked him!). I have this record, nothing exceptional, mind you (although I really like the cover of wicked game), but there’s been way worse than this!

Cleo, do I have to buy this too? I miss dEUS as much as I missed APC before your suggestion... by now I trust you blindly, you could be my guide dog! ;o) Of course, I'm joking, you're so much more! So what should I do? What do you say?

Attention, this time the good Iko has really hardened. He’s right. If you want to open a debate with him, declare yourselves. It's certainly more respectful, and you’ll undoubtedly have a chance to learn something new as well, dear anonymous ones. Hang in there, Iko! P.S. 2 or 3 listens a day still!

I highly recommend Equinoxe, the Concert in China is also splendid! But with Oxygène, you started off more than well, I would say the best! And... I didn't mean to be offensive, sorry!

Before Vangelis (disciple), I would like to remember a certain Jean Michel Jarre (master). The result is good anyway. The film, well, absolutely overrated, but I believe that a single viewing does not allow for a full understanding. I've seen it 4/5 times... well!

But are porcupines what I ignorantly call hedgehogs? Legendary Hal, beautiful introduction.

Here’s Hal, I’m glad you specify that it’s the critics who draw comparisons to Paolo Conte. The same critics who consider Vinicio Capossela a modern and sparkling version of the lawyer from Asti... but give me a break, go criticize that fish! I get brutally angry, I can’t stand it, really, you can shoot me, beat me, violate me, but you have to leave Paolo Conte alone as you would leave your mother alone! I believe that no one can be compared to this charming character from Piedmont, in terms of culture, education, personality, and musical talent (he is and remains a self-taught). I imagine he can be identified as a reference point, but we cannot speak of "comparison." Conte is the Apeyron, the unmoved mover that shapes formless matter while remaining incomparably distant from it.

Guys, sorry, I owe Ish the usual 5 euro cents for rights, great comments all around!!! Thanks to everyone for the incredibly interesting debate; I copied it all down and printed it out, I'll read it again tonight! You are all wonderful, I've grown fond of you. Cleo, your husband (if he is one) is a fortunate man; Umma, your SECOND SELF appears to me as the "word" of the prophet; Anonimo from the latest comments + Iko, we all care for each other. Self-irony is an act of love towards our interlocutors. The album is a masterpiece, but you've all already said that. Stay well everyone! Love!
