It's true, these are really strokes of luck. It happened to me too: twenty days ago, with little money in my pocket, I went to a store that sells used records, I search, I dig, I turn everything upside down, nothing, total emptiness, then my eye catches something and I find a bootleg of a Primal Scream concert at the Rolling Stone, with the ticket from Barley Arts as the cover, year 1992, damn I grab it, pay 7 euros, and let out a huge curse of joy as soon as I step outside, everyone looks at me and I keep jumping towards the car...

The first time I saw Marlene was, I think, in '95 or '96, at a concert in Cascina Monluè... unforgettable, Godano playing like an epileptic in crisis, moreover their bassist had hurt his hand and was unexpectedly replaced by Maroccolo, the bassist of another band I loved deeply... I will go to see them again trying not to make comparisons, trying to remember that... "nothing lasts forever"...
