Hey dots, don’t get too carried away, agreeing with strangler is a big word, at best you and I can CONVERGE and then part ways quickly...;-)

It's true, these are really strokes of luck. It happened to me too: twenty days ago, with little money in my pocket, I went to a store that sells used records, I search, I dig, I turn everything upside down, nothing, total emptiness, then my eye catches something and I find a bootleg of a Primal Scream concert at the Rolling Stone, with the ticket from Barley Arts as the cover, year 1992, damn I grab it, pay 7 euros, and let out a huge curse of joy as soon as I step outside, everyone looks at me and I keep jumping towards the car...

but you go with your butt out since you're used to it, even though seeing you is a bit gross
And if we really want to put it all out there, there are much rarer records to brag about

The first time I saw Marlene was, I think, in '95 or '96, at a concert in Cascina Monluè... unforgettable, Godano playing like an epileptic in crisis, moreover their bassist had hurt his hand and was unexpectedly replaced by Maroccolo, the bassist of another band I loved deeply... I will go to see them again trying not to make comparisons, trying to remember that... "nothing lasts forever"...

I will look around; I really liked the phrase "he must have lived so much punk in his skin." For many, it may seem trivial, but for me, it means more than a thousand pages of musical descriptions...

Interesting, but when is the album from?

the Webmaster MUST publish you every time you write, these are not reviews. NO. they are much more: they are the small big things we all experience, only that you managed to turn them into words... I don’t know who the hell you are, what hole you’re hiding in, whether you exist or not, but I have known you for a lifetime. I felt you close to me when many years ago THEY broke a tooth of mine while moshing, when high as kites they were driving the wrong way down Viale Padova and the cops stopped us... or that Saturday afternoon spent crying while listening to records (I THOUGHT I WAS ALONE INSTEAD...), when the white liquid turned blood red and it started to get hot, very hot...

I agree with what Perez said, and personally I liked Omar Rodriguez more here than with the Mars Volta...

I really love groups that raise such different opinions. I confirm what I said before: you either love them or hate them, never indifferent.

Hey dots, yesterday I gave it a try, I grabbed the CD, and as I was about to pull out the disc, my eyes landed on the flaming skulls on the cover and at that moment I just couldn't handle it and I wondered how out of my mind I was when I bought it... anyway, I'm planning to listen to it again one of these nights with the maximum open-mindedness possible...
x katzen: If it’s just a matter of burps, I’d like to point out that when I was in middle school with a can of coke, I could say all the letters of the alphabet by burping... but that didn’t make me start making records... but it seems like I missed an opportunity, damn...
