Perhaps you didn't understand that the irony lies precisely in the out-of-time shouts (as in years) "yeah" "cam'n" or saying "this is the music of the devil"... As for the resurrections, well, anyone playing blues today has to resurrect; in blues, how can you not resurrect? The fact that it's listened to by engineers doesn’t bother me at all… I’m not familiar with Martinez, but I think I'm missing out on something… Baked pasta and eggplant parmesan, on the other hand, are definitely not overrated… they deserve the fame and the hunger they have.

Leonid, I don’t agree with you: if you don’t have a massive dose of irony (and not only that), it’s hard to sing with Chuck D... or if you bring the blues into hip hop via punk, if you lack irony, you’re destined for neurosis...

Here's a concert I would have loved to attend... John is one of the greatest, and yet there are still those who say that punk didn't create great musicians... but do you know if he’s on tour or was that the only date?

Dear my moon, always ready for irony and blessed with far-sighted memory, the first time I heard ā€œfresh fruitā€¦ā€ I understood that technique is not an essential requirement; indeed, many times it can be an obstacle. The devastating violence of a D.K. live show (seen twice, including one with J.B.) is in no way comparable to the music of Mars Volta. They are two different things, and I don’t even question whether one is better than the other because that would be absurd; everyone listens to whatever the hell they want. The mortal boredom was referring to this kind of discussions… I have ā€œDelousedā€¦ā€ by Mars Volta, which is more than enough; I'm waiting for Omar Rodriguez to come out of his prog phase to dedicate himself to something more fun for me…

Personally, I loved The Smiths, but I've always been more fascinated by Marr's guitar than by the voice (beautiful as it is). I lost track of Marr (you might be right), but if Morrissey didn't have his past, he would be just another one of the many... As for the beer, don't thank me; I like doing good for humanity. Unfiltered beer at concerts doesn't happen often...

concert below expectations as far as I'm concerned, two guitarists couldn't pull off a Johnny Marr... I'm glad someone enjoyed the beer since I spent the whole evening pouring it...

You're right, Nekro, their concerts attract a diverse audience because they've gone well beyond metal, blending it with the iconoclastic fury of the most extreme punk and jazzy atmospheres...
