read moonchild's comment. that being must be punished, and severely. the album sucks, it's utterly crap. they probably did great things in the '70s, but this album is the worst thing that could exist. dear eclipse... I would have rated it 0, you should have had a bit more courage and not cared. and trust me, my pretentious critics, this album is METAL, but poorly made metal.

truly a great experiment. 3 discs filled with emotion that Vasco can only dream of from a distance, lost as he is singing "eee....vuoi da beeereee..." and "un seeeeenso non ce l'haaaa...". well done Liga, after the flops of Miss Mondo and Fuori come va, an album like this was needed.

Unfortunately, I don't think our differing opinion will change. I see too many similarities with "the piper...", even though obviously Barrett as a solo artist did different things compared to the first three PF albums. Barrett is indeed a singer-songwriter, a great one, but my very simple opinion on this album is that it's not an absolute masterpiece, but definitely a good album, which, as I said in the review, is a notch below the entire Floydian production but still valid for that reason.

And instead, airone, I think you’re mistaken. Anyone who has heard this album has said it sounds like “the piper.” Obviously, this is a great album, but it’s definitely not a 5-star record. If you give 5 stars to “darkside,” you can’t give the maximum to this one too. Anyway, I don’t think I wrote anything too far from reality in this review. The album, in my opinion, sounds exactly like it has been described; I don’t consider the approach to be wrong at all. I’m not saying this out of arrogance, but because it’s impossible not to have references to “the piper” while listening to this album. I don't know the previous one well, so I won't judge it; I'm judging this one because I have it and I've listened to it so many times, believe me. Bye.
