At the beginning, Stefani dressed in calf-length dresses and wore pants, chains, and combat boots. Now she looks like she's decked out like a cheap whore shooting videos with photography and costumes in a style reminiscent of David LaChapelle... I find it in bad taste... she tries to emulate the vamps of the 1950s, but the poor thing lacks the style, poise, and maybe even the talent... she hasn't done anything bad with No Doubt... I think a definite judgment will come with the second album... for now, I’m postponing my evaluation until September. Objectively, the album is extremely flat.
