Ah Scott, honestly I've been really curious about this I Am Kloot for a while now, but I'm not sure I want to spend 18 euros for a band that I've only seen live on television once. I mean, I don't really know what kind of music they make... or at least you couldn't really tell from the live performance. It seemed like an unplugged.

I take note, psycho, of the bands you mentioned, but if you get a chance, really listen to some songs by the Libertines without overthinking the references and just focus on the music itself (I’m writing down what I think are the best: What a Waster, I Get Along, Up The Bracket, Horror Show, Time For Heroes). If you've already listened to the album, well... we just think differently. Bye.

But what are you saying???
You must be unwell if you don't like the Libertines.
The Libertines are one of the most captivating, talented, and original bands to have emerged recently in rock 'n' roll.
Their sound draws from the Pixies, the Beatles, the Pistols, and was produced by Mick Jones... come on, let's not say ridiculous things now...
Then you tell me you feel unwell listening to the Libertines and among those worth saving you mention the White Stripes, who have impressive sound gaps (I've seen them live and can confirm) as well as limitations in their playing (have you ever tried playing their songs on guitar? If the answer is yes, you surely would have understood what I'm talking about).
Come on, let's not say ridiculous things...

Okay, for me this album is significantly inferior to Neon Golden and, thinking about it with a bit of distance, it even bores me a little. Noteworthy are the jazz influences in track 4. It's nice especially because there are more parts dedicated to the guitar and wind instruments, not to mention the ethnic elements (bonghetti bongoni and so on...), but overall, it doesn’t convince me much. As for the singer's voice, you're absolutely right (it resembles that of the Nada Surf singer). Nice but not too much.

Come on, let’s not kid ourselves... this is just confusion... you can’t send a non-review and then "pretty it up" a bit: the result is a mess, even if I like you.
P.S.
G__à it’s your conscience talking to youuuuuu... change the photo of Giovvv, change the photo of Giovv with the one he sent you 10 days agoooooo......

Well-written review (obviously the one already out is unbeatable :)) but as you may have noticed, I find them a bit boring. I mean, if this album had been released, let's say, in 1995, then the conversation would change (even if not by much in the end). But, nowadays, I can’t stand hearing songs of this kind that, even though they are beautiful, automatically (maybe without the authors even knowing) fall into plagiarism and the "heard it too many times" category.
