According to amendment 408/5 bis, whoever reviews an album by (so-called) p*p bands: Offspring, Blink 182, Green Day, Good Charlotte, has the right to be treated on the street by passersby as if they were impersonating any member of the Lega Nord. Passersby are also not allowed to throw more than two curses and one look of utter contempt at the reviewer, in order to avoid falling into the offense of recidivist blasphemy.

You didn't get a damn thing, Carlo!!!;)) I said that Doherty and the Atomic Kitten are on the same level of musical falsity (all programmed around a table with a couple of martinis) and that all this spontaneity just isn't there. Let alone talking about genius!!! In fact, it even makes me laugh when people say that Cobain was a genius! A genius is someone who invents, creates new things, modifies, moves things forward: Lennon, Barrett, maybe a tiny little bit Thom Yorke, but I'm not so sure about that. That's what I said, not that Doherty writes songs like those four miniskirted whores.

So I would have started by saying "not at all an interesting Texan folk rock band..." and then continued by saying "even more drowsy than Coldplay..." and ended with "if after listening to Okkervil River you're not already in dreamland, then it seems like you've got a bit of a problem...". In exchange, the review is nice and well-written, if nothing else because with very little you say a lot, as always. Even though (of course, in my personal opinion) it gets the final judgment wrong.

I’m against him because he doesn’t make good music in any sense. Doherty and the Atomic Kitten are on the same level of musical falseness for me right now.
