Finally, someone who writes the "trait d'union" properly and not "trade union." I would buy it with my eyes closed just from the guests you mentioned.

For Marcmat: I never claimed to be objective. I express my opinion. I'm not a fountain of knowledge, and I will never pretend to be. However, I know the Stone Roses very well (though it's a long way to being a fountain). I saw them live during the 1989 tour at the former "City Square." I bought all their records, even when they broke up. They were very important. I’ve followed all the key moments to be able to express a judgment about them “with good reason.” I don’t like your review because it diminishes what they were. Don’t quote me drumming virtuosos; you’re off track. It’s like comparing John Frusciante to John McLaughlin. Don’t take it personally: the mere act of writing on this site makes us “de facto”... debatable.

I saw them in concert in Stuttgart, I believe in 1994 or thereabouts. I preferred the guests, Slowdive, with whom I chatted after the show. They've never really blown me away. Dahii, the 4/5 is a bit excessive...

I bought it when I had gotten all caught up in these jazzy trends, around 1987. Then I discovered the Red Hot Chili Peppers and rock and roll swept me away. I gave the record to my brother...

You won't tell me that before judging whether you like an artist, you buy their entire discography, and ONLY AFTER do you decide if you like it or if it sucks? Liar. I believe the process is: I feel something = me gusta mucho = I buy or I feel something = no me gusta = I don't buy. I've already met someone who tells me, "before you speak...". Why should I do that when I already have clear ideas? This also applies to VxS. I believe that listening to 4 or 5 singles in Heavy Rotation from each album of the .... artist.... (finger in throat) as imposed by radio and television is more than enough to decide and to judge. I'm categorical, I know, but I don't like nuances. Only pure colors.

I too, like Turkish, was listening to this album today!! Great review!!! What do you mean by "I just follow it"? I'm not clear on that.
