I don't love punk, but these bands get to me... I went to art school in Verona, and over five years I saw 90% of the people come in all composed and prim and proper (tunzi-tunzi), and then to create an image, to seem "alternative," or for whatever the hell I know, they start chaining themselves, tearing themselves up, studding, dyeing, getting dirty, smoking and listening to that shit music! It's all about attitude; it makes the kids feel cool...

Come on, damn it! The Guns were amazing, a step above everyone else, this album is truly perfect, I've been listening to it for ages and it has never bored me, such style, such voice, such guitar, so raw, so crazy... they were the rock icon of the era and they will remain that way forever, with their teased hair, Slash's top hat, Axl's completely out-of-it and ecstatic face on stage in tights and bandana, with Duff's horrifically bad transsexual makeup... they made history with just one album! It's true they messed things up, they had insane potential and burned it all for fame and money! For example, I really like Use Your Illusion II a lot (not that there are many others), commercial, a step below this one, but still fantastic... great Guns!

Well, come on, it's been two years since I listened to that album, and there is indeed something there, but it still left me feeling like that. The Snot were a bit bare, and I really didn't like Strait's voice... the System are more varied, more complete, and then Tankian's voice creates many different atmospheres. They touch on more styles, you see; they have more imagination and personality in my opinion! It's all about personal taste, right!
