Come on, Nirvana and Guns are untouchable. With practically three albums each (Lies, Spaghetti, and Intesticide aren't real albums), they've become a must in rock, and even today they drive millions of people crazy, ten years after they’ve been gone. Your criticism is too gratuitous and shameless; you can’t just shit on a legend just because it sold a ton of albums. A band isn’t valid only if it doesn’t sell a damn thing and is understood by few. Melvins are a living legend; I’ve never listened to them, but their reputation definitely precedes them. There’s no doubt about that.

Bullshit, I read it again with ears already well accustomed to the sound of this masterpiece, result: great review and absolutely amazing album. The Joy Division were definitely another story, neither better nor worse, simply a different story.

Ah, anyway I listened to it, aside from some stylistic slip-ups the album is good, definitely better than Digimortal! But not a 5, not at all... The first two tracks are devastating, and let’s throw in track 3 as well! Drones is boring, lacking imagination, flat, one of their worst songs.... For the rest, I’d like to point out Corporate Cloning and the final cover of Nirvana, School, a devastating meccano-interpretation! Thank goodness they got back together and screw Cazares!
