On Deerhunter, I'm reflecting a bit on my review. In fact, I wrote it fueled by an initial excessive enthusiasm that later turned out to be exaggerated. I too haven't listened to them much since then. I mean, I still find the album honest, but undoubtedly, it's dispensable.

I found it by chance used for 9 euros and I couldn't let it slip away. By the way, it's a nice hardcover. The record is quite good, the guys are likable, a bit of free spirit, and they know what they're doing. Who knows, they might even improve in the future... really nice review.
Nirvana Nevermind
Voto:
The problem is that Nirvana did have some merits, especially in their explosive energy, but in terms of innovation and songwriting, they are mediocre compared to other American bands like the Pixies, Sonic Youth, and even Pavement, who, years later, still sound enjoyable just like they did upon their release. Conversely, the same cannot be said for Nirvana, whose music, when listened to today, needs to be considerably re-evaluated.
Noisettes What's The Time Mr. Wolf

also because it’s one thing to say that nowadays in the UK not much is being produced, after all it’s a tough moment and the Americans are doing better, which is true. It’s another thing to indulge in the usual rhetoric against pop or the pop attitude. Making pop is hard; writing a catchy but not boring song is incredibly difficult, just as much as or even more than banging out two random guitar riffs and being tough and pure. And the Brits have given us many great pop songs throughout their glorious history.

However, the attitude of these would also be interesting, but it’s not just that they lack singles; the entire songwriting is immature at best, confused in the worst episodes.

great disc, even better than YHF
Modest Mouse We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank

good album but not exactly hair-pulling.
Spiritualized Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space

original review there's no doubt. Albums like these are rare, so 5 stars.
Sufjan Stevens Seven Swans

oh my god, the passion is there in the review, maybe too much, a little bit of rationality to balance it wouldn’t hurt..the album is beautiful, inferior to illinois which remains, in my opinion, his masterpiece.
