Impeccable review, completely dispensable album. It turns out that his neo-prog-noise works have taken a perilous turn, risking to undermine the enormous dose of emotionality (in the most "brutal" sense of the term) that has characterized his journey. Two and a half hours of pure alienation, but the legacy in terms of soul is almost non-existent.
