It is loved for its disturbing soul.

I have nothing against Morgan, but I really don’t understand when they call him genius. I believe his true gift is memory; it's a long, useless quotation.

"The Face" is by far my favorite, this left me a bit cold due to the era they touched upon, no longer garage punk but classic Rock'n'roll, and then they hit me with the farfisa.

I don't understand anything about this genre and I don't know the group, but I saw them live before this LP and I have to admit they were powerful. Other than that, I have no idea with or without an accent. I don't know the album.

always compared to that other slowcore black hole "Spiderland", a totally personal association. But this one by Codeine has an inexplicable beauty that, in my opinion, "Spiderland" lacks. I repeat, it's a personal comparison grounded only in my musical mind.

I have never liked them, and I will continue not to like them. It’s not a lack of respect. I think it would be more disrespectful if I were to start praising them now.

To a distracted listen, it didn’t make me lift my gaze from what I was doing.

Over time, it has lost much of its value compared to previous releases. Here, this work, as far as sounds go—not to mention the rhythm—I'm sure it is, an album recorded a few years earlier but published too late due to personal and contractual issues. Fans were expecting an LP that dared much more, that, as usual, would set trends, in short, would amaze.

I want that sweet little house in the photograph, I miss the snow, what a shame. I have to feel it, and maybe even for the snow, it resolves itself in a far, far lesser amount, but they say it's the thought that counts.
