I loved the Dream Syndicate, but that never led me to take an interest in Steve Wynn solo. Anyway, allow me a question: has this gentleman always churned out countless 5-star works, or is it your great love that, upon merely hearing Steve Wynn’s name, automatically triggers “Masterpiece”? Now you must tell us, through tears, about a work of his that disappointed you. Quietly, if that helps.

I heard some tracks, a great tension channeled into well-crafted pieces, but the years go by. I am very different from when I was solely captivated by the sound of guitars. I've only listened to the first two works, and honestly, I don't think this will add to it; too much water has passed under the bridges.

From what little I've heard, it doesn't sound bad, but nothing more than a tribute. Nothing wrong with that; one more won't hurt anyone, but I wouldn't listen to the original even if I were forced to. I believe that deep down it might please many.
