I listened to you for the first time after your review. I completely agree about high-waisted pants and their (hopefully no longer procrastinable) comeback, as long as they can be paired with properly made pumps from the '80s (can you believe it?), so no platforms, for crying out loud.

Be careful, they're quite touchy around those parts... Cogoleto is a municipality apart, the second one on the Riviera di Ponente coming from Genoa... No, just saying... Bye!

More Maroccolo for everyone.

Thank you, Hope, nice and simple. 5/5.

All true, all shareable, Carlitos. The white triad of classic rock 'n' roll, him, Elvis, and JL Lewis, often inspired young white enthusiasts still unable to drink from the black sources of blues and rhythm 'n' blues, and especially he and Lewis did so by stripping the sound down to the bone, without necessarily making it wild and distorted—those weren't the times yet.

The "educational" and exploratory role of the Lubbock nerd can never be praised enough; physically unable to hold a candle to the other two gods of white rock 'n' roll, he remains damn simple to understand and reproduce, something that has been done for generations...

Stratocaster (or piano, in the case of Jerry Lee), bass and drums were more than enough, and even if the lyrics back then couldn't be much more explicit, it took little to ignite pale young hearts and introduce them to the (future) delights of black music, from which everyone, including them, had learned everything, only to then, rightly, bastardize it with country to make it more immediately accessible to their young Wasp audience...

Great review, Carlos, 5/5, ça va sans dire...

Nice, but they're not Morphine, more like a cover band.

How nostalgic. 5/5.

But darn it, I forgot the stars. Five/Five, of course!
