I hope to see it as soon as possible; every new release from CE is always a surprise, for decades now. A director who has revealed cinematic talents, technical as well as human facets, far superior to what he was able to show as an actor... I always remember with a smile Sergio Leone's definition of Eastwood as an "actor": "He has only two expressions: Clint Eastwood with a hat and Clint Eastwood without a hat"... Just to say...

But when did they start heavily putting on makeup and selling truckloads of pseudo-electronic nonsense?
I'm asking for a friend...

I see that, as always, Armandino, you took it lightly, as we say in my area... You didn't get angry, you didn't lose your cool even a little, you were empathetic and calm as ever, and you didn't resort to various outbursts... Continuity in tradition. I hug you.

... and don't forget...

I like it a lot too.
And I'm so Claptonian that The Lady in the Balcony really pleased me a lot...

This time, I actually liked what you wrote. A bit didactic, certainly, almost like cover notes (and who knows???) but, in itself, it didn't bother me, being devoid of those extemporaneous judgments you usually sprinkle throughout your writings, pompous and grandiose without having the capabilities or aspirations. Here, out of excess zeal, I would have avoided that masturbatory point where you define yourself as a musician, which may be true, but you certainly could have stated it with less arrogance... However, dear @[Ilovemusic], I can't refrain from solemnly and cordially telling you to go fuck yourself. Heaven forbid you lose the habit.

What does it matter if you call me, that "Scemmu du belin" takes away my name?

Of Berlinguer the politician, I have an opinion that I know does not align with those of many others; in short, I try not to get lost in memories of a youth that, by necessity, are not perfectly aligned with the reality in which we moved...
Berlinguer moved, he, as the fine intellectual he was, never a gesture too much; he was the intelligent uncle of a working class that was then vast (in terms of numbers, today instead in the literal sense...) and as such he knew how to guide the masses, elegantly holding the miglioristi, ingraiani, and cossuttiani by their balls and constantly engaging more or less with everyone—let's say with many.
I will not delve into political-ideological considerations, as I see it, Berlinguer was not precisely, almost technically, even definable as a communist, and for me, he buried, with the historical compromise, the very essence of calling oneself a communist; well, that's well enough known.
The discussion could revolve, perhaps, around the quality of today’s politician, indeed.
I won’t say more.

The image of Pino Scotto in red leather pants soaking a snowdrop for breakfast has opened a spacetime hole that I don’t know where it leads. I suspect, alas, to Macomer.

Even today, this album hits me straight in the face like the Freccia Rossa on the plains; I love everything about it, from Eddie's undisputed and undeniable technique (who, years later, in a fit of insane and billionaire showmanship would prove that even on keyboards he could go three hundred in a curve without slowing down... Jump, Jump!!!) to the dry and decisive drumming of the little brother, to Michael's booming bass, and the reckless and undisciplined vocals of DLR... I love the clear, defined, simple recording just like the album it belongs to, I enjoy the guitar intro and the traffic jam chorus; I still go crazy today with the second part of Eruption, I even love the playful diversion of Ice Cream Man, the rock 'n' roll vibe oozing everywhere, pouring from the acoustic guitar to the distorted, saturated electric one... The review, come on, add your touch, put something of yourself in it... A hug.
