But, it seems to me that it's the opposite, that is, it is so connected to the book that cut episodes are excluded.

Well, it's a nice little film, in my opinion, but it struggles to be remembered compared to other adaptations, in a positive way (the unattainable TV series and the Disney movie that, although very different, is overflowing with ideas) and a negative way (the Benigni film).

Beautiful times when Disney had personality (every character leaves an impression, from the sugar bowl to the little squirrel) and made CARTOONS and not Game of Thrones in Peppa Pig format (like now)
Bonus points for the Shermans who came up with delightful songs like this one.

Reminder to remember that it is one of the most beautiful films of the new Millennium.

Real dialogue that actually happened

Me: "What are you listening to right now?"
Girl: "Punk"
Me: "Come on, that’s cool! Who do you like? I love the Clash, and I'm more into post-punk and New Wave, like Joy Division and Television."

Beautiful, perhaps the best testimony about the Holocaust ever seen/read, very sincere in its staging and commendable for how it depicts the consequences of war on the surviving father.

We, welcome to Debaser.
Her spine-chilling voice, yes, in particular I love her performance from '68 of 'La voce del silenzio', it's hair-raising (and that infamous Rai took it down from YouTube... oh well), but I know little of her songs apart from the most famous ones ('Amor mio' by the god Battisti is still amazing). Great recommendation, I will listen to this :)
