Absolutely the first stumble I feel from the Mothers of Invention, completely different from the irreverent and parodic charge of the trilogy that precedes it, fundamental. This is different, more sugary and polished, honestly it doesn't speak to me much.

Gone with the Wind Italian style 😂

I don't know, I didn't mind it, overly stereotypical in the first part and ultra-predictable in the second, but it has its flaws ;P
Well, overall it was quite pleasant, especially in its more intimate moments of melancholic preadolescence interspersed with frivolous touches.

Beautiful film, I would dare say a beta version of Ghost in the Shell, three notches above Only You. Oshii contains the absurd nature of the characters that mean absolutely nothing to me in favor of a serious, subtly unsettling atmosphere, and the whole thing obviously benefits from it.

Beautiful movie, I mean, it's not just a film about the forbidden relationship between human and vampire with a kick-ass twist (I'm stating the obvious, but Toilette isn't even worthy of licking his shoes), but it's also splendid as a slice-of-life film denouncing bullying (for me, it's better than the contemporaneous The Kite Runner/Bridge to Terabithia that came out almost at the same time). A great film enhanced by the cold and aseptic Nordic setting and a slow style that brilliantly highlights the details.

(Ten points to me for having understood our little vampire was biologically male 😂😂)

Well, I interrupted him halfway because he was boring me to death and I ended up watching 'Susanna' instead. Lol.
