What happened? He grew up and realized (or "intuitively" understood, which is the same thing) that "The Past holds us back, the Future fills us with anguish, and the Present slips away from us."

Beautiful page, I doubt he will listen to it.. But it's good that rap is also discussed here..

Never heard of them... The texture of the sound seems pretty cool anyway.. Playful in a trip..

I like unheard things as well as un-heard things...

An author I have never (guiltily?) approached..
You have intrigued me..

Storytelling at the tip of the pen: you deserve the academic basho...

An album that could be right up my alley; after all, anyone who retreats "to a mountain hermitage to indulge in peyote, a lot of peyote" can only be my friend...

"You kept your eyes fixed on the present": true.

And if we stay within the realm of science fiction, wasn't Huxley’s Brave New World perhaps more "foresighted"?
Humans are not programmatically born with physical and mental defects tailored to the positions they will occupy in society, but the "economic defects" one has as soon as they step into this world greatly influence the possibilities of an individual's future expression.
There is no soma (the perfect drug) that allows you to enjoy moments of ineffable escape without contraindications, but with the relentless development of anxiolytic antidepressants and more (not to mention the proliferation of synthetic drugs), we are increasingly leaning in that direction.
And there are more "correspondences" (some perhaps a bit forced, but others, like the two I've mentioned, more "relevant" to our contemporary reality).

This wild, all-encompassing, present-day liberalism tends more to reward those who obediently walk the paths expected of them than to punish those who dare to rebel (if it is still possible to identify a significant number of people who do so or try). Just like in Huxley.

Someone said: people find it easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism.

Imagination is the only thing that can save the world.

I'm not cut out for long-distance relationships; for close ones, I lack consistency, and my relationship with myself isn't going too well either... All that's left for me is DeB.

I confess I prefer progressive ambient over pasteurized swimming.

We always talk too little about football in our country. So well done to you and Buffa!
