Nice little page Mr. Wolf, clear and smooth, that enriches Debaser. I didn't know the author. Now I do, at least a little. Really good.

a simple, clear, and direct critique, perhaps a bit lacking in arguments, but who said that every time you review a book you have to write a thesis? Here, we get straight to the point and that's fine.
It’s rare for me to associate myself with a critique without having read the book, but this time I fully feel it.
I was born in 1965, and my novels about adventurous teenagers were written by Pier Vittorio Tondelli; I remember "Altri Libertini," which was already five years old when I read it, then "Rimini." The youth depicted by Tondelli was from the late '70s, but he particularly began to frame the '80s very well.
When Brizzi arrived 15 years later to tell the stories of the kids of the '90s, I was no longer a teenager, and I read Jack Frusciante as if to understand what the new decade's kids had in their heads, if not my children, at least my younger siblings. It wasn't an unpleasant read, but on a literary level, it seemed to me a clear step back in terms of expressive originality and courage in content.
Damn, it was 1994!!!
We're in 2018; if I'm decrepit, it means Brizzi is starting to get old too (what’s fair is fair), and what does he do? Still tells stories of teenagers, joints, and jerking off? In 2018? TWENTY-FOUR years after Jack Frusciante?
I’m glad there are those who don’t fall for this scam. Thucydides, with two stars, you were too kind; you should have been tougher.
Guys, don’t let yourselves be deceived, unmask the nonsense, and be ruthless. You deserve much, much, much better.

HOPELESS, by now I’ve formed an opinion on the strengths and weaknesses of your pieces.
The strength is that there’s a lot; there are skills, content, culture, and that’s good.
However, I believe there are also significant weaknesses, and I’d like to explain myself on these, I think it’s worth it.
It’s not possible to read a piece and have to stop every three words to focus on a literary, musical, historical reference, or who knows what else. Only to arrive at the end feeling dazed.
I remind you that these are reviews, not poetry, not music. You need to put the reader in a position to understand, you shouldn’t hypnotize them with a barrage of semi-biscromic concepts.
Or maybe not.
I don’t know, now I’m filled with doubts. Do you see what you’ve done to me?

well done, although I also find the Nirvana piece more than excellent

I know there exists a certain old critique that considers this a minor work in De Andrè's discography. Personally, I've never understood its basis and I completely disagree. We're talking about one of the most beautiful albums in Italian songwriter music. Lyrics of exceptional quality, fantastic music, superb technical realization and arrangements, gentlemen, what on earth do we want more from an album of songs?
Moreover, if you claim it’s a "transitional" album, it would be better for you to explain transition from what to what. I've heard very few albums of this quality in the Italian language. I'm sorry tomny, but I don't follow you. Maybe next time.

Your writing made me reflect on how music enters our lives and is inextricably linked to people and moments, and if it's true that we have "il cuore di simboli pieno" as Guccini said, certain symbols are played with a telecaster, a bass, and a drum set. Exciting as always.

this time it’s music that, for now, doesn’t interest me, and I read your piece only because you have an excellent track record.
Maybe it's because I'm far from the music genre (I’ll just say that while I was reading, I was listening to Cannonball and Coltrane from '59), but I struggled a lot to reach the end.
I don’t know if it's due to space constraints, but the concentration of stimuli, ideas, and references is too dense, making it exhausting. It's too rich, too flavorful for my palate. Maybe next time. Best regards.

I have friends who knew him, many many years ago, and they've never forgotten him. Very unfortunate, a short life.
