While aware of his vocal gifts and his historical role (frontman of Litfiba) in the history of Italian rock, I could never take him seriously, nor his music. The model of the rocker in super tight black leather pants (Jim Morrison wore them in '67), the little goatees and pirate bandanas, all of this equipment has always seemed to me forced, sophisticated, not authentic, and for this reason, ultimately, ridiculous.
But really, you debaserian friends took him seriously?

Well, he is a great artist. I understand, however, those who have ended up not being able to stand him like TataOgg; he can indeed be hard to digest. Maybe one day he will become interesting to them again. I think he is one of the most interesting figures around.

I am always happy when someone revisits this formidable trio. Old rock, raw and superb.
Mark Farner was an amazing musician, one of a kind. He is still alive, and I wish him another 100 years.
This summer I listened to "Monumental Funk," an album by Farner and Brewer recorded in 1974 and never officially released until 2017. Among other things, there's a more seductive version of Harlem Shuffle than the one by the Stones. Overall, it's a nice album.
Now I'm dealing with his 1977 solo album, which seems quite modest and poorly produced to me.
The review seems well done. Thank you, JonnyORiley87.

I too, like luludia, reserve the right to read it calmly because I’m busy right now. Anyway, this is a LITERALLY CRAZY film. In my opinion, it’s almost a theatrical work, in the sense that the part of special effects and action is, as aesthetically and technically beautiful as it is, subordinate to the dialogues, which take place in a 3-meter by 2-meter engine cab. It is a masterpiece of virtuosity by the two lead actors (and of course the director).
In short, I would also like to say many things about a film that I adored and that makes up my personal "top ten" of cinema. Unfortunately, I can't right now. In any case, I already thank Kuro for choosing and re-presenting it.

Congratulations IlConte for a beautiful page on an extraordinary character. I revisited everything available online, and it was a pleasure. I’ve added the book to my personal list of books to purchase as soon as possible.

It's a sophisticated review, full of insights, finally something original about an album that has been discussed in the same way for almost 40 years (a minor album, a transition blah blah blah).
It's not an album I love, but this piece is worth reading. A salute to all the patrons of this establishment.

In the end, I didn't understand who is right, whether it's Morgan or Bugo. Who betrayed whom? Is it Morgan who's betrayed by cocaine, or Bugo and his entourage who tried to be cunning by attempting to manipulate Morgan only to then try to get rid of him? If anyone has figured it out, can you explain it to me?

I only remember "Leaves Turn Inside You" as a beautiful album, which, however, marks the conclusion of their trajectory. I know quite a few bands that have pulled the plug after reaching their zenith. These are fascinating choices, certainly more interesting than the ones made by groups or artists who closed shop after throwing the last shred of dignity to the rats. In their case, I don't know the reason for their breakup; perhaps it was simply because each of them had other projects. What a shame; Leaves Turn Inside You was truly a remarkable album.

Wow! Really interesting, fes, really interesting, I swear, I'm not kidding. Ha ha ha.

Oh yes, rules that seem extremely important to you. Crafty little fes, with your trinkets, but I’m afraid it’s too late. :-)))

How much I enjoy seeing those wooden, creaky little insults, the result of a late and burdensome effort to achieve the special effect, the most striking firework, the attempt to have the last little word that you think is genius, for me a perverse yet exquisite pleasure.

We had fun, it’s true, but I did wrong. One always regrets giving in to the game with things one knows are modest.

I could toy with you like a stolen breadstick for as long as I want (until someone up high really gets fed up and bans me once and for all. Instead, I hope for forgiveness. Some slips, like teasing the fes of the situation, can happen just like measles or scarlet fever; it all comes down to stopping once and for all). And then I’ll turn you off, obviously leaving you the last excruciatingly sought-after little word. What delight will you bring us? A facade of disinterest? A paradoxical insult? Let’s have fun one last time.
