The same story with a different ending, the release year matters little; it’s the same tale told from differing yet inextricably linked perspectives. For me, it’s impossible to choose between Dalla and De André; both have narrated fragments of terrifically dramatic existences and thrown them at us mercilessly. They’re not simple tunes, despite the appearance. This is why we listen to them and why they will always touch our hearts; gods and madonnas are merely sweeteners. The only certainty is that art is consolation... and you write well, that’s something no one can take away from you.

I had already appreciated something among the listens that you were surely behind... And then one evening I dedicated myself and listened to everything else I found on YouTube. A couple that I would have thought was unthinkable instead pleasantly surprised me!
