Queen Innuendo

The album that significantly raises the profile of the Cuin, coming off some rather uninspiring episodes from the previous decade. 4.5

It's been a few years since I last made him dance on the platter. Good record, 3.5/4. Some episodes not excessively exciting, magnificently salvaged by the "sultana" and at least 3-4 other great tracks. But it’s the next 2 LPs that remain monumental for me.

I must admit that I'm quite unprepared regarding Strambelli post-"Incontro" (1974). I know for sure that he was in a state of grace during that period, and Vangelis (as @Lao reminded us) also arranged the excellent "E tu" by Baglioni and "Concerto per Margherita" by Cocciante; that would be enough for me not to go below a 4. Anyway, well done, congratulations on the "niche" proposal. I will eventually take care of filling my gaps about this trumpeter of former Poohffi.

Don't come and tell me that a mutual rummaging in the underwear didn't follow the contortionist duel of salivary transfusions. I don't believe it. But if that were the case, I wasn't the only loser in ancient times.

I'll say 2 honest things. The first is that I found the album to be about sixty percent tedious, but it shouldn't be classified as a colossal mess. The second is that there are some particularly well-crafted solos at various points (even in tedious sections) that somehow reassured me. Slightly better than the previous ones; a (almost) 3 this time can be gifted to Pinazzo.

"Nursery Cryme," "Foxtrot," "Selling England by the Pound." The "genetic" trio of wonders. However, the review is true, it lacks a bit of soul.

So, this month I have the car tax, next month the inspection, in July the inspection and insurance for the Vespa (hoping it passes since we're nearly the same age - and I've said it all), the other Vespa is at the mechanic and there it’s tears and blood, the IMU is on installments, soon... I don't know if I'll have 8 euros left for that psychopathic Allen. I'm going to load up the "mule".

Let's not kid ourselves. The most innovative album of the last decade was recorded by them

A particularly explosive and noteworthy record, but not an absolute masterpiece. A 5 compared to other well-known masterpieces from the past. 4.5

Almost 4. It’s a great job. The plastic smell of the '80s, in my opinion, will be felt from the next one.
