Who cares a nice pair of nuts!!! This stuff drives me crazy! What is this? Am I here to review someone who sounds like a seal when she sings? I happened to hear her on the radio and noticed the copycatting. I couldn’t care less about the ratings. I just wanted to highlight yet another atrocity.

I haven't seen it in at least 10 years, but I remember it being very goofy and annoying as a movie. Russell is just the right amount of cocky. 3.5.... 4, come on!

Anyway, it's from 1976, not 1975. In '75, after "Anima" and its hit "Bella senz'anima," "L'alba" was released.

One of the most off-key interpreters of the universe

In my opinion, Gaber was quite left-leaning, at least until the second half of the '70s. When "Polli d'allevamento" was released in 1978, he anticipated by a decade the disintegration of that great dream, which collapsed definitively along with that sad Berlin Wall. A dream that even he no longer believed in. As for Moro, it was the same Gaber in 1980 in "Io se fossi Dio" who threw him down (already assassinated) from the tower, along with all of Italy's moral decay, while emphasizing the brutality and the act of the brigadisti.

@Tsunami, I don't know if it's limiting to review a 45 RPM record. I fully resonate with the feelings or emotions when reading old reviews, so I refrain from giving my own perspective on records that have already been judged; I just leave a few comments and a rating... In this case, there was a lack of evaluation for these 2 pieces, which have been overlooked for years in Faber's discography, especially "Una storia sbagliata," which has a particular origin. I simply described (I believe comprehensively) their story, from conception to release. That’s it.

The Bubola period, 1978-81 (Rating 4) is a bit of a double-edged sword, according to many. Not too far behind De André's more recent works (Creuza de ma, Nuvole, and Anime salve, all rated 5), perhaps because that "pop" tendency, more catchy than the earlier albums of 1967-70, makes it more accessible to a broader audience, as evidenced by the significant sales of the live albums with PFM. In '78-81, he just updated his style a bit, only to then delight us with his final masterpieces.

Come on... Insufferable no, maybe a bit useless. But better a booger from Faber for my little monthly salary than D'Alessio's complete works for free.
