Welcome back, Ghigno. The best take so far on this album. I agree with the idea of quotes from their discography. I had the same feelings too. After listening to it at least 4-5 times, I grasped its essence and I can raise my rating to almost 4.

I believe Dax can still bring the little point for the draw ;)

Thank you for the journey. A beautiful insight into an omnipotent figure of Italian music. I remember a piece by Lauzi that was already singing his praises in 1983: "La sindrome astigiana."

The title says it all. It was '74 and you could really start to smell the stench of the Great Illusion. Beautiful review.

If you want, I can tie you up with barbed wire, make you listen to "Time" blasted in your headphones on repeat, and I'll go at it with my plunger until you shit out the score of the whole LP. Shall we give it a try? Come on... :)

Apart from "Sirtaki" from 1990, Mango is an artist I have kept my distance from on several occasions, even though his early period has always intrigued me.

Transitory more for intimate reasons than anything else. After ten years, it still remains a difficult album for me. I struggle to fully understand it.

I haven't listened to him in three centuries. Pleasant record, but I remember some significant peaks of boredom. The period up to 1974 is the one with Vecchioni, which I can bear vocally less, because of his trembling and melodramatic way of interpreting, although I love "Parabola" and "Il re non si diverte" very much.
