I still need to hear it, can you believe it? I'll check it out again! Anyway, looking at the genres, I'm already curious, especially because unlike what happened with Lil Yachty, I expected a genre shift from Slowthai. That grime/non-grime was already fitting him too tightly haha.

I really enjoyed it, less effervescent than "Take Me Apart," but I'm crazy about the nighttime atmosphere that envelops the entire tracklist, especially songs like 'Happy Ending,' 'Contact,' 'On the Run,' 'Missed Call,' 'Bruises,' 'Sorbet,' and 'Divorce.' Plus, she really has the right voice to sing over certain breakbeat beats; I’d love to hear her experiment more, but at the same time, I want her to continue making this style her own.

Warp Records really doesn’t miss a release, huh... an amazing roster with a series of great albums every year.

I love post-punk and the so-called no wave, two genres (especially the latter) that I am constantly exploring, and this has been one of the strangest, most chaotic, and difficult to understand records. However, it has paid off tremendously, thanks in no small part to tracks like 'Now I Want it All', 'Jungle Song', 'She Was a Visitor', and especially 'Loneliness'. All the noise and that repetitiveness that initially bewildered me ultimately became the strengths of this great album!

By the way, I see it as a distant ancestor of "You Won't Get What You Want" by Daughters for their similar toxic sounds and overall cacophony. Even the covers look alike haha.

Do you remember when I told you that I hated - and still hate - trap projects with 20+ tracks and an exaggerated length? I’ve always believed, perhaps it’s obvious, that quality > quantity... in fact, I liked "Lyfë" precisely because it was short and concise, with all the tracks at a high level.

Well, this time I was proven wrong, because despite the length and the number of tracks, I really liked this album and I’m enjoying it a lot. Stellar production, I love this kind of instrumentals that have an experimental touch, but at the same time are very minimal and catchy, and even a track like "Nun Id Change" works in the context of a similar album. He then swims in this type of sound with bells, trippy synth lines, and distorted bass, and I hope he continues to push it forward. 'Dëmon Tied' is my favorite!

An album that warms the heart of every self-respecting metalhead... after kicking its ass track after track. My favorite has always been "Altar of Sacrifice."

Fantastic album, a milestone of house just like "Deep Inside" by Hardrive or "Amnesia" by Mr. Fingers. It sounds amazing even after several years with that soulful flavor throughout almost the entire tracklist!

A good track. Linkin Park is part of my adolescence, even though my favorites in the genre have always been Korn, which I still enjoy listening to nearly twenty years later.

After "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora," I admit I completely dropped off, but those two albums are really well done, full of iconic tracks (at least for the genre) that I must have listened to countless times, so even though it's a b-side, it’s nice to hear something tied to that period!

Now I hope they dissolve for good (a new singer wouldn’t make sense) and that there isn’t a media operation with the release of more similar tracks just to pick up a few extra bucks.

Better Lil Yachty, I'm sorry 😁

I see the American trap scene (with due exceptions) on the verge of death or at least approaching irrelevance. In what has become a saturated club of clones, Lil Yachty did very well to dare and "detach" himself from his genre, even if frankly I’ve always considered it one of the more peculiar ones, for better or worse.

It’s really a good album with remarkable instrumental care, not at exaggerated levels as some music portals or RateYourMusic are hammering away at, but it’s still a successful experiment. I like practically all the tracks and the comparisons to the music of artists like Tame Impala and Yves Tumor make sense, with the difference that in albums like "Lonerism" and "Heaven to a Tortured Mind" respectively, the transitions between songs are perfect, almost turning the albums into a continuous stream of colors and sensations. On this album, however, the tracks, which I repeat I liked almost all, sometimes feel a bit randomly glued together... perhaps by choice, who knows! Also, Yachty's voice sounds a bit out of place in some parts, but in its own way it works well with the abstract character of the disc. And these are the only negative critiques I have. I hope he continues on this path, maybe increasing the experimental component.

Now I expect a digital hardcore album from Playboi Carti and an ambient techno project from Frank Ocean hahaha.

I didn't know them until a few days ago, another pleasant discovery in post-punk territories after finding the Italia 90. I really enjoyed the album, which is saturated with romantic melodies that often transform into spine-tingling crescendos. The tracklist is solid; it's hard for me to pick a single favorite song, but the title track and the trio "Ethel"-"The Stars..."-"Belonging" are simply exceptional. Not to mention "A Thousand Lives"!
