In 1998, I followed her. Musically. It doesn’t go beyond good-mediocre. The self-titled album is definitely the best; The Globe Session was nice but had only the single (let's forget about the song written by Dylan). Soon forgotten.

I will listen on YouTube but I don’t know what to think. The first album felt MTV oriented and unnecessarily chaotic (even though there wasn’t any real chaos) but above all the songs were too similar and monotonous. Maybe she’s grown after two albums.

Volume 2, in my opinion, is the best; Red Queen is spine-chilling. Unfortunately, I don’t know if you will get your wish regarding reprints; we need to understand who holds the rights and what their intentions are. I would say they don’t look good, at least so far.

Nice review, I know them a little, I tried to listen to "A Chance to Cut" decades ago... but it didn't impress me much. However, I find them very appealing, I should give them another shot.

The first one I also listened to. Not bad, but it’s the classic character about whom I don’t know what to think. As I wrote in a review about her, nowadays there’s too much cynicism to understand the goodness of certain endeavors. True that by now she must be an adult.

well, it looks like good stuff! as soon as I find it at a price without two zeros, I'll dive in with my Postepay!

For me, it has been on the decline since 2000; sure, "let england shake" was a breath of fresh air, although it couldn't hold a candle to the old albums from the '90s. I don't think I'll listen to this one, let alone buy it.

he didn’t say anything to me. but maybe you’re right to say that it should be reassessed, the fault of this live album was coming out after Closer in 2003. that album was brilliant and also a bit disturbing (especially the first track)

I am completely ignorant about Ike and Tina. Who knows... maybe I could start from here.
