An (obviously I'm addressing Green), since you voted on my review based on how it was written and not for a correspondence of opinions, I'm voting again hoping to at least make amends, especially since, as always, it was written very well!

Dear Green, thank you for stopping by!

Well, a band does what it feels like doing, not what the fans want, but okay, it’s an interesting point of view and anyway, they are opinions... Regarding the "you know what you're made of" comment, I don’t see its usefulness, I mean, if I grab an album from any other group, of course I know what they're made of. Moreover, at certain moments (the central part of "The Man who would be King," for example), there are instrumental sections that rely more on atmosphere than on melodies in themselves to stretch the track, which many often find in their songs. In short, I think it’s still worth listening to, I will never tire of repeating it, then (this is a general statement, of course, not directed at anyone in particular) if we want to avoid the 76 minutes of listening because we’re already convinced it sucks, then that’s another matter, not to mention that, regardless of which album we're talking about, it takes more and more listens to assimilate the content and form a definitive judgment.

@stefano90, I would have gladly avoided this emphasis regarding maturity, but when someone criticizes an album because the songs are long, or because the initial arpeggio "has nothing to do with the rest of the song," or in general, when listening to a record knowing that in the end you will say it sucks because of your nonsensical forecast that must be right/you can't stand the band/etc., you can't help but talk like this. As I've always said, tastes are tastes; if after giving it a fair listen you still don’t like it, I certainly can't (and don’t want to) make you change your mind. It’s a bit like what often happens with Load by Metallica, which has to suck just because it doesn't fall among the band's historic albums, when in reality, considering it's practically a hard rock record, it turned out pretty good all in all.

Sympathy, take me away after all!

@Bartleboom Haha nice one! (I’m not winning anyway, but whatever)

But I send them as usual! Who knows, patience, and then everyone can make duplicates just on reviews, but few know how to duplicate comments muahahahahaha! (but maybe not, oh well). Anyway, comments like the 31 are as reliable as Corazzon's weather forecasts, so I'm moving on.

It's not their fault, however, if they find themselves with hordes of kids who idolize fìar ov de dàrc as the album of the millennium. Let's not generalize now, as the Maiden have created masterpieces, and there's very little to argue about this, just as it's true that they are certainly not infallible.
