I don't think it's hard to find them, whatever "way" you choose to take. Perhaps for those who are not into Noise they may seem a bit tough, but once you're in the mood they will give you great satisfaction. Oh, probably "Harsh 70's Reality" is definitely sharper than this one, so in that case, get both.

Am I the only one who remembers their ridiculous video in heavy rotation on Rock Tv? It must have been, more or less, in 2001 or 2002.

Yosif, you brought up Gotek among names like Narkotek, and that’s pretty much blasphemy. He really knows what he’s doing, Tekno physics like few others. Back to Radium, maximum respect for what he has done, but I have a certain repulsion for Hardcore, Frenchcore, Speedcore and the like. Maybe it's because I've been subjected to so much of it at parties, but it’s a genre that tends to bore you after a while. There’s a nice page coming out, I had never read anything related to Tekno here on DeBaser. Great!

And now that you mention it, I'll probably write a few lines about "Musipal," in the name of Wagon Christ. I'm quite chatty today!

Luke Vibert is quite another school, though. Among other things, I'll be seeing him in Rome along with Black Sun Empire for the second edition of Get Numb (the first one with Noisia, Plaid, and Benga) at the end of January, if I'm not mistaken.

Sid, forget about Radium and all that Hardcore stuff for sixteen-year-olds (and, alas, not just them) on their first highs. Tekno is something completely different. Happy to have been of help. :D

Mental Tekno refers to a subgenre of Tekno (which is different from Techno) that is very metaphysical and tied to a kind of "noise" conceptuality. Stuff like R-Zac, 25eme Dimension, Les Boucles Etranges, some productions by Jeff 23, Hesed. I realize that it might not be to everyone's taste, especially if one is not already accustomed to listening to Tekno.

Geb, if you're looking for recommendations in the Dubstep scene, I can tell you that Plastician, N-Type, Hatcha (or even Kromestar, who has collaborated with him often), Reso, and Borgore are the top for me. Otherwise, you might want to start with Benga, who is probably the most "easy" among these.

Geb would neither be (nor is) the first nor the last case of electronic music for the mind that is also suitable for a "dance floor." Just think of certain Break Beat, Mental Tekno, and all that genre that is defined as "highbrow" electronic music.

Yes, just a little tangled. Glad it was understood! :D
